so the robots if ever be in the wildest circumstance, are for temp uses only.
ahh.. i get it. robots for temporary use, real women like me for permanent use? is this subject for scheduling?

nothing beats the real thing still.
    how comforting. haha.

Again, you are thinking of the robot as a REFRIGERATOR. Shakes head.

In the future, one won't be able to tell between a real human and a "robot"...together with genetics and nanotech, these entities will be as we envision them to be--like us. Consider comparing the interior of a Ford Model-T and an Enzo Ferrari...one will think "these two are totally different machines, so different from each other"...but they are both cars.

I don't know if you're being cynical or funny, but I don't find that amusing. I mean what if I chose NOT to deal with REAL women? Why do you always have to assume that men would WANT companionship? What if we CHOOSE NOT to have a companion?

Me, I haven't had *** in three years. I've been in Cebu for over 10 months now...I live in an area where, pag gawas lang daan nako sa office kada gabii...nag pila na ang mga prosti sa dalan duol sa office. I have to admit pila na ka times ko na tempt to actually hire them--pero my principles have always overpowered my yearning to hire one of these girls--I still have my hands naman, why SPEND needlessly, and WHY RISK my health diba? So, in the end, it all boils down to a matter of choice.

Now I ask you...kinsa may mas "macho" or mas "lalaki" sa imong panan-aw? Katong mag-succumb to prostitution kay he can prove his manliness to his buddies? Or someone like me who actually resists pero is suffering from the lack of physical attention (in fact, the reason why I don't have a male "barkada" kay nasumhan na ko ug sige'g istorya during drinking sprees about women...bakit puro nalang about women? Why can't we talk and drink about something else like global warming, hydrogen fuel cells as an alternative energy source, or pro-active farming? shakes head)

i wasn't. the difference between a robot and a real woman like me is that i am capable of emotions. this capability is what connects me to men like you. that "connection" whatever you might want to call it, love, affection, attraction, lust, etc. etc. is something that i consider an advantage. an edge.

You see? the bottom line is why think of this "edge"? You have to think of edge if you consider men and women in some sort of "competition"...my question is...WHY COMPETE IN THE FIRST PLACE Diba mas peaceful and mas hapsay ang kalibutan if conflicts are erased? Shakes head, kani man gud ang problema sa tawo...dali ra ma bored...mao kay walay lingaw, mangita hinoon ug kagubot ug problema.

A sophisticated robot can. It may not be possible now, but it can be very possible in the future. Again flashback...back in 1988, who would have thought I can just type a word in a "world encyclopaedia" and a concise and clear answer comes out in a few seconds (wikipedia etc etc)? Again, technology is the key--if it's not possible now, it can and will be possible in the future.

And what are emotions? Emotions are merely states of consciousness dictated by various chemical balances/imbalances in the brain. If one can mimic such states in a robot's brain, voila...if one can have artificial intelligence, one can also develop artificial emotion.

The "edge" I'm talking about is, because of the fact that men have indeed exploited women throughout the ages, women (amongst themselves) have developed various "techniques" throughout the ages, to get what they want, despite the prevailing "male dominant" society. Meaning, women actually CAN be powerful, but their power is subtle and oftentimes, unseen. One good example that scene in Memoirs of a Geisha, wherein the geisha was told of how powerful an effect her eyes have on a man, and she must learn how to use this power effectively.
