NIce reply bro and a quick one i might add.

Yes naka apil ko sa Catechism class. And tubong Carolinian ni.

But still we are referring to something good being done.

the example on Jesus Christ healing on the Sabbath is still the same with it. klaro na kaayo.

Binuang lang gyud kayo ang Catholic church paspas kayo mo react and daghan sad kau mga pasipsip hilig mo sakay.

It is always institutionalized. wala gyuy freedom, puro rules and laws, waht if we go back to the basics, like you said sa panahon nga wala pa ang catholic church, say kadto time ni Jesus.

Our faith would be much simpler and less complicated.

The Catechism is good but it lets people trust in the Catholic church as an institution more than sa Ginoo. I mean that's just my point. i don't want to convince anyone.

I know people find me extreme.

Pero, let's go back to Fr Suarez.

Its like suppose you have money for offering sa church, and you cross by someone who really needs moeny like a person with an ailing mother or a child that needs medicine, would you rather gie that money to the person or adto lang gyud sa simbahan inig misa.

diba it makes more sense to do something good now. I am not saying we should break the rules but just bend it a bit. you get my flow..

    simple lang gud.

yeah, i find u a bit extreme also...anyways, imo man pud na.

it's good that u pointed out u r a Carolinian. I was too. and yes, u r correct that the Catholic church is institutionalized and there are internal rules to follow for the clergy...especially when dealing w/ crowds...the doctrines are put in place so as to avoid confusion and anarchy in the hierarchy, just like any big or small organizations, they have by-laws...and that is the BASICS...

Catechism includes especially the teaching of Christian doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systematic way, with a view to initiating the hearers into the fullness of Christian life"...

so actually, catechism makes your "faith" simpler and fuller. i know a lot of Catholics who doesn't even know what being a Catholic means. Some doesn't even know why we have to make the sign of the cross, fiesta celebrations, processions...catechism is one way to know all that....

And Bible reflections is another matter. it is personal...

    now back to Fr. Suarez:

yes, it would be better just to bend those church doctrines than break it...

but "healing sessions" by a Catholic priest is breaking it...a celibate priest marrying someone w/o the church's dispensation is also breaking it.

And in fact, these 2 scenarios are all in making something good.

I have finally seen on the news what the issue against Fr Suarez selling stuff is all about.

Daghan gyud wala kasabot niya. ang uban pari mura gyud nasuya because he is sellign books, dvd's niya (his healing service) blessed crucifix', blessed rosaries.

Ang wala gyud makuha sa mga cge reklamo niya is that all the proceeds go to 3 schools, where they are conducting feeding programs.

He is also starting a foundation. and no one is getting rich in the process..

Just a big FYI to everyone and to those who think he has hidden motives.

You must understand that the proceeds go to a worthy cause.... feeding programs, a foundation and many more.

I think some of the priests are jealous because he has generated some funding quickly than any other catholic group.

nasuya raba. ky feeling sa uban priest mabahin na ang supporters nila.

but how can you help that when this priest is being used by God. Lisod man gud mangita og supporters and those accusing him of doing something illegal are those that have failed in what he is doing. Dili sayon mag start og foundation, sa bond nga 1 million sangit na. but he is starting one.

Now, let's question those priests who are driving luxury cars. kanang mga priests nga ang gipuy-an condominium, kanang priest nga ang balay gi abangan centralized ang aircon....? diba.

and to think, Father Suarez is a fellow Catholic and He is alos a Filipino...

murag diri natinuod ang sulti sa Bibliya "Only in his own town and own household is an apostle not welcome"

Ako, i give Fr Suarez 2 thumbs up.
