we decided to go with the 5on5 format since not much want to play line anyway. it would be 5on5 with no line.

why don't you guys just show up when we schedule a weekly get together. it is open to anyone anyways. 5s beach rules. will be played in mactan since no rent for the field. every saturday 3 -6pm. will post when in february it will start (most likely february 9). The field is located near camella homes. I will post a sketch on the sharks blog as soon as I confirm the field. No payments or "amot" for field rent. it is open to anyone.

nice seeing you in sinulog tan!

The sharks and sharkettes have no plans of joining the CFFL anytime in the near future (read ... http://cebusharks.blogspot.com ).

However, football is always a great sport and I would be lying if I said we didn't miss it. We just don't have the time and the motivation to once again join a competetive 9on9 full contact league.

Let me, on behalf of the sharks, apologize to duke and to the rest of the istorya members that did make it to the beach house during that day when I announced the retirement. In fairness to coach paul, even he did not know what I had in mind.

With that out of the way, all of you, yes all of you here in istorya, are invited to a 5on5 recreational flag football schedule that we will be organising. The location will be here in mactan since the field is free. It will be 5on5 beach flag format and it will be every saturday starting february. From 3pm to 6pm. It is open to anyone and will be coed if there are girls. It is not a league or a tournament. It is just recreational so anyone who shows up can play. We will mix up experienced players with non experienced ones.

I will update everyone on when this will exactly start and where the location will be.

    Harry

    Hey Har...

Just found out you're into istorya too. hehe.

good idea you got here! Even if you're no longer active with the League, you still managed to cook up an activity for public awareness of the sport. GOOD JOB GYUD!

well....Knowing you, anything under your wing always succeed! hehe So congrats na daan hehe

Cheers har- to our good ol' CFFL Days (meaning first coupla seasons)!
