I emailed the HK distributor and was surprised to get a prompt response from howen@pacific.net.hk
..."It's about the same physical size as the 2.2" but with a much larger screen with motion sensing auto-rotate picture function to fully utilize all the pixels of the LCD screen.  Price is HK$1800 without hardisk.  We do not carry such devices bundled with hard disks.  Installation is a snap and the CSO has built-in HDD format function.  About hard disks it requires 2.5inch PATA/IDE type.  In HK you can get a 80GB for about HK$450 or 160GB for HK$680 but i suggest you to get it at where you reside in case warranty service is required for the hard disk drive.
This nearest shop you can buy this unit is DC Wave at Mongkok.  Please see below for address and the attached for maps.  It should be easy to find and Mongkok should be an interesting place to go.

...So I guess I'll go to Mongkok then
Have fun!
for reference nalang ni: abot nako gikan hk. nakit-an jud nako ang store sa Mongkok...DC WAVE - the only hyperdrive distributor in Kowloon.  bought NOT the hyperdrive COLORSPACE ky out of stock.  The man said Colorspace would arrive only after Chinese New Year. they had the 2nd newest model, the hyperdrive SPACE.  was compatible with CF, memory stick duo, mmc, sd, sdhc. the only difference is dili ma view ang photos after storing it in the hyperdrive.  Storage was what i needed so i bought the SPACE at HKD 1080.00. The man at DC WAVE gave me his card.  If you wanna contact him, here it goes:
Shingo Chan

To get there, take the MTR (train) to Monkok station. Sim City is at Shantung but we can see it already from Nathan Rd. It's just a small store with Neon Lights that read "Sim City". I got lost in Mongkok for a while but managed to ask the man beside the newstand and the 2 traffic enforcers.  They didn't know Sim City but they know Shantung Street. DC Wave also sells camera accessories but I'd rather buy accessories from Sir Tony Leung at Tsim Sha Tsui.
