    Default globelines dsl problem

I'm a single user in my home. How can I use a "LAN"? If you're referring to Ethernet, that's what I requested but they don't give out Ethernet modems for residential users and I'm not about to go buy one. Oh by the way, when you recommend things, please state a reason.

You guys should rather call their toll free # 1-800-873-01-357 for any trouble concerns so they can assist you with your problems.

Give us a little credit Goose. That's the first thing I did. Most popular answers:

    1. It must be your area (then why offer it here in the first place)
    2. We don't know (then why are you called technical support in the first place)
    3. We'll call you back (they never do)

This is true to all ISP i have experienced and there's no exception. They cant supprt and they will just ask you to reboot your system and insert-reasons-here.

Yes, it must be your area and it's hard to troubleshoot it. Imagine naay nakuryentihang langgam sa imong linya, you are remote, and they wouldnt know if naay nakuryentihan langgam somewhere.

So dawaton na lang na nato nga they are not perfect.

Suway pangapply ug techsup sa ISPs or telcos, makasabot ka ngano.

I havent tried calling ISPs because it's useless. They cant's solve the problem, pataud taori lang then balik ug connect, di ba balik ra lagi ang service.

I have this friend who is techsup and pilosopp kaayo.

    Customer: hinay lagi ron
    Techsup: unsay hinay, perting hinaya
    Customer: Karon ra man ni
    Techsup: last week pa na

unsaon man na nimo beh. wala kay choice, dawaton na lang na nimo or kung dili ka kadawat, paputol lang and they will be happy to do it for you than listening your bad mouthing.

Telcos are always bad in cusomer service bisan sa London pa ka.

Wasn't my area. Their stupid modem drivers don't work well without SP1 for XP. But if it was my area and it's hard to troubleshoot it gloryhunter, then my point is, don't offer it here. They should do a pilot on the area before unleashing their problems on a hapless public.

And if they can't support, then don't call it support in the first place.

As for the langgam, shouldn't that show up on their bandwidth flow tools that there's something affecting the line? Shouldn't they then go out for maintenance, find the bird and clean their lines.

Of course they're not perfect, but there's a difference between imperfect and indifferent.

I think they want to help you but they cant for some reasons. I think you're area will work but sometimes a specific line wont work. Modem cannot be stupid. They cannot create a driver just for you.

Sure, you may call it marketing flower. That's a reality.

In a perfect world they can do that. They will spend 1 billion for each client.

I guess it's time to disconnect because you are not getting what are you expecting.

Whoever said anything about creating a driver for me? On the flip side, I cannot demand that the hardware I purchase/rent works well with me?

So be it, call it "the marketing flower hotline". At least I'll know not to call it. A reality? And will accepting it and being passive about it change it?

In a perfect world? Uh, all data communications companies I know do maintenance on their lines. It doesn't take "1 billion for each client."

    >>I guess it's time to disconnect because you are not getting what are you expecting.

I will once I find a better alternative. That does not preclude me from asserting my right as a consumer.
