if philippines became a US State obviously we have to undergo different processes again....not only on its monetary system and on its purchasing power, we have also to consider our constitution....we have to adhere the the US government policies, citizenship will be transformed into what? Fil-Amer. or purely american? although we have a direct acces to the US especially if we travel outside our teretory, but we have to consider also the racial discrimnation...... we cannot deny the face that although filipinos excist all over the world but still discriminstion exist...like the black american, untill now they are still descriminated by the white americans, infact black americans are now called black americans....and what will happen to our politicians? would you think they will agree that US government will take over our country, knowing the fact that the US have longing the Philippines since before.....what will also happen to those people who are known to be as a "maka bayan or maka pilipino" would they swallow thier pride to accept that system? During our elementary days we wheree thought on how to give values on our morale, dignity and pride to be come a filipino..........but I believe those are just minor issues, what we have to do is to face the reality that we are running out of financial resources...especially that corrupt people are in the position of running the country....but we have also to face the fact theat there is nothing wrong with the constitutional laws that we are governing now adays...what is wrong is that we arte in the tradition of dirty politics and greedy politics.....................
