Default ROSARY VS. MY OWN PRAYER

the basic components of prayers are: praising, forgiving, asking and thanksgiving.....

Rosary vs. my own prayer..asay mas powerful sa duha?
    ang ROSARY man gud:
    1. madugayan nako og pray(n my experience) mahulog og gisag-o(memorize) nalang wala nay pagsabot or wala nako magcommunicate ni lord or mother mary but still im praying...
    2. inig human sa rosay tungod kay taas maluya nako then mubarog kay naboringan na.
    3. then mulakaw mora lang y nahitabo.
    4. at least naka rosario nako...

    ang sa My own prayer:
    1. nindot kay pweding ma heartily, mura kay nakigstoria
    2. makapatuyang ka
    3. and mura sad marelieve ka.
    4. but wala ka makarosary mao ang deperensya
    5. gitagaan man gud og maayong pagtagad ang rosary.Mama Mary says please pray the rosary..

Now karon: kinsay mas epektibo nila duha? ROSARY OR MY OWN PRAYER...
BUT ANYWAY IN ONE TRAVEL TIME FROM MY HOME TO MY WORK IV DONE THOSE TWO PRAYERS, ITS ONLY 35MINS. BUT NA NGOTANA LANG KO...hehe out of curiosity..

ccruman etc. ayaw ko tubag og pangutana, i need an answer or your opinion. dont ask me a question pls..you have your religion i have mine pls respect...i need answer not debate..pls sorry

Personal prayers and the rosary are two different things. There is no such thing as more effective than the other. Dili mani siya magic2x na naa tay spell na mas effective ala harry potter.

Personal Prayer is a must since personal ang dating and you get to express what is in your heart when talking to the Lord. You can express thanks, repentance, worship etc.

Now the Rosary is a different thing. It is a meditation on the life of Christ. From birth till death. Praying the rosary reminds us of the whole life of Christ (Certain important keypoint of his life). To put it bluntly, Personal prayers are for your side... the Rosary is for his side.

    1. madugayan nako og pray(n my experience) mahulog og gisag-o(memorize) nalang wala nay pagsabot or wala nako magcommunicate ni lord or mother mary but still im praying...
    - yep. I agree naa mga tao na mouth nalang ang nagpray and the heart wala na (mostly old people). If you are doing this then better stop it (wala ni padulngan) or pray the rosary better.... Slowly and Heartily and meditate on each word and the prayers' meaning.

    2. inig human sa rosay tungod kay taas maluya nako then mubarog kay naboringan na.
    - yep. I agree again. Makaluya bro, and daghan temptation to stop (inom tubig, kaihi-on, cellphone call etc.) because kapoy na. Again thats the challenge. Lain kaayo paminawon na tapolan ta mumeditate sa life ni Jesus kay boring and makaluya (now kinsa kaha na nagpaluya nimo? try and ask yourself... is it God or the other one?). Mura raka ni say... boring naman paminaw sa life sa ginoo oi!

    3. then mulakaw mora lang y nahitabo.
-yep. Yet again agree nasad ko nimo. Mostly this is the case... lakaw lang murag walay nahitabo. If mao ni then you did not pray the rosary from the heart. Wala ka nag meditate sa life sa ginoo. Then you prayed the rosary the wrong way.

    4. at least naka rosario nako...
    -The rosary is a choice.

Now if you ask which is better? I also ask you why not do both? (No debate intended)

    Hope this helps...

Prayer is "to each his own." And all there is to a good prayer is when you say it from the heart than from the mouth.

In fact, God answers all prayers and sometimes or often, the answer is NO.

I agree with Makusama, aside from praying the rosary I also do my own personal prayers.

Lemme share to you the Fifteen Promises of our Lady, hopefully it would inspire us Catholics to pray the rosary always. =)

The following promises were given by the Blessed Mother to Saint Dominic and Blessed Alan in the twelfth century. These promises are fifteen in number and are for Christians who recite the Rosary. The Blessed Mother promises:

    1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

    2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

    3. The Rosary shall be powerful armor against hell. It will destroy vice, decrease sin and defeat heresies.

    4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish. It will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God. It will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

    5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

    6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice. He shall not perish by an unprovided death. If he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.

    7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

    8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have, during their life and at their death, the light of God and the plentitude of His graces. At the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

    9. I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

    10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven.

    11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

    12. All those who propagate the holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

    13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

    14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.

    15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Why God doesnt answer Prayers ?

"Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." (1 John 5:14, 15)

This mean that God only hear us if we are truely follow his will ?

The verse does not require us "to follow" (as you put it) according to his will before God hears us but rather only tells us to ASK what He wills of us when we believe in Jesus - which is Eternal Life.

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. 14And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him (NASB).
