bai... first thing you must do is to ask technical assistance from GLOBE....let them do the job they have to for their customers.
assuming of course that the techies at Globe have brains...i can personally testify they do not...i've sent numerous e-mails to them about my own fixes for my problems for other customers' benefits...no response...and yes ayawlex, i've got the same prob
For the past week or so, I've had the same problem. Always gets stuck in "Verifying username and password...". But the upstream/downstream arrows in the taskbar are green all the way. But it works fine now.
My specific problem is that it connects at a rate of "6.1 Mbps". The connection also intermittently gets dropped at random times.

i had problems with globelines 2 weeks ago. like anthony, i had connection rates at 6.1mbps but connection was intermittent. when the technician finally came over, he said he had to change the port i was connected to.
right now, i'm connected at 8mbps but a test on my bandwidth says i'm running my usual speed.
Port on server side or yours? I'm on a USB modem.
use LAN...dont use USB...
