    Default Help: How do I install my 2nd HDD?

    mga bro!

    How do i install my second hard drive I am planning to add another hard drive to my computer. My PC is running Windows Xp SP2 the HDD i am planning to add is 40gb IDE. How do i rightly placed the cables, power cables, the master-slave thing..?? i don't know eh.. can you explain it to me? How about its CMOS settings how do i configure it?? Please help me... Thanks.

    try this kuha ang jumper sa imong new HD then attach the second cable connected from master HD then itaod ang other power cable to ur new HD

    naa rmn nay lable or instruction sa HDD nga imong paliton bro on how to set ur HDD to master or to slave....nya ang iyang wiring ana ky self-explanatory na au...basta maka kita naka sa iyang 2 slots(ide cable ug ang power supply)ky maka sabot ra daun ka....then sa bios...murag wala nkay i adjust ana bro ky ditso nana idetect...ang imo nlng ana bro ky to format ur new HDD para magamit nmo...if formatted na daan then much better...gudluck...

    OT...

    y not buy SATA HDD wid more capacity??

    how are you planning to set it up? RAID? if non raid. just use the secondary cable as a secondary drive pwede nka mpartition sa windows.

    aw...hehehe..mao diay bro??hehe...bali pd tag problema bro..ky naa ko 2 ka HDD na IDE pro ang akong mobo ky usa ra ka slot para IDE nya more on SATA...hehe...mao ng ngita kog ka trade ug 80GB na SATA kron...hehe

    daghan man nagbaligya diri ug sata na HDD diri istorya.. sulayi ug trade2..

    --btw bro.. simple raba ang pagtaod sa 2nd HDD directly i-detect rana sa imo PC?

    IDE cable connected to the IDE connector and 2 Hard drives, secondary (slave) ky without jumper then ang primary (master) ky mura'g anha sa left side ang jumper. mura'g ing-ana mn cguro na.

    naa man na instructions sa label sa HDD.
