my point exactly. battered women have very low self-worth and self-esteem (which maybe caused by husband's abuse or other traumatic events in life) that they have this perceived inability to escape. i have to discount the statement that most battered women tend to stick with their husband because of fetishes. not all battered women engage in any sexual activity with their husbands.
