due to the stiff competitions now a days, and if you are still in the middle of exposure for your talents.. then that's is a very advantage. For me i didn't mind too much as the pricing. kung dinhi lang sa pinas. Okay ra na nako ang 5k for 5 pages pah. heheh. pero mag depende pud sa quality sa imo design. the higher you pay is the better the quality you get. dpende pud sa imo gipabuhatan... hehehehe

Nowadays we have flash driven cms with php applications . Pwde na nimo ma try . LIke for example imagevue . a little modification will make it a website . Object driven xml na siya ...
So 5 k I think cheap na siya .. YOu will be given credit with your design not with whatever application you will be using .

right now I do simple Flash actionscript for my brother who designs&develops websites.. mostly AS stuff, no more than a 200+ lines. i charge him from 500 to 2000 depending on the complexity of the movie.. and i've been doing this for a long time, it's a good way to earn money while i'm still in school. hehe. each project takes at most a week.
i agree, 5000 is good enough for entry level designers.. it's like a brand, the more people recommend your work, the more expensive your work could be.
