after booting in safe mode, uninstall the latest driver you installed (motherboard driver man to diba?). after that, reboot.

about your other question, are you already connected to the internet? if yes, then i'm afraid you've been hit by a worm =( do as IT suggested.

mao na mahitabo basta mag pataka ka ug gamit anang Registry cleaner....kay mag usab man gud ug regisry values ang cleaners

@parts: for your version of windows, you might want to check out the site about autopatcher (autopatcher.com??). paki-google nalang. before, when i was using an unlicensed xp, i used to download an autopatcher which is basically all the hotfixes and other patches/updates for a particular windows version. a very big download but you can burn it to a cd and re-use everytime you install your unlicensed windows OS.

@mods: i'm not encouraging the usage of pirated versions, just wanted to share something to those who still cannot afford to buy a legit copy of the OS... so that they have access to MS hotfixes/patches. if you find this unacceptable, kindly delete my post.
