Another issue to fit my argument or you just can't say who or what makes the bible scientific. I think you need to read few pages back rcruman because brownprose and tripwire explained it very well about associating bible and science.Originally Posted by rcruman
The Bible was never intended to be a scientific book and will never be "The Most Advanced" book as others would like to claim it to be. To allude the Bible to be a book of science all the more invites/opens more contradictions and misunderstanding and a case in point for example is this thread.Originally Posted by Sinyalan
The Dust-to-Man preaching by Eli Soriano if taken with a serious eye is misleading and full of NON-SEQUITORs. I have explained my point very well (in the previous thread) how Soriano alluded the Bible to science to impress upon ordinary minds their supposed scientific connection which to my mind is simply another creationist baloney!
tumpak you nailed it bro..

thats sad, i think you misunderstood me.Originally Posted by dartzed
hey hey hey, if you havent read some of my posts, i believe there were certain people from here who also mentioned "science does not claim absolute truths" was it nemo or munzter or someone(will check other threads for sure)...that is why it is always open for falcification if new evidences are presented.since they wont answer it or cant answer it well sad to say that science has limitations
and you dont buy a car because you know it will eventually breakdown in the future, right?? hahathat science has limitations.. thats y i say "and there goes science for nothing..."
btw,not really, was being sarcastic if i wasnt mistaken.hahahai think you went to far and get caried away bro sa imo pgkabright...
you see, calling science nothing, scares the sh!t out of me you see....thats how the dark ages prevailed.
perhaps it would be useful to know that science only flourished in the west during the time of the renaissance, when the church was still licking its wounds from the failed crusades and intellectuals began to study humanism from pagan works which were previously prohibited by the church.
think about it...
The Bible have some sciences written but that is due to our advanced thinking... we base our mentality though our current status not their time (status). Would they think of science when they wrote The Bible in the first place? What was science to them? How science benefited their lives then? In fact, they never heard of science (seriously I wasn't there so to speak) but commonly what The Bible is all about is not scientific but faith and salvation. I can understand some of us would associate Science and Bible but that is manipulatively wrong.
