best wifi router brand?

id like to know which brand is better linksys or netgear? some complain of limited range! anyone whos experienced good quality brand?

if you want range, these linksys models are your best bet:

WRT300N - 802.11N router (N is the shiznit but expensive)
WRT100 - rangeplus G router
WRT54GR - router with range booster
WRT54GX - router with SRX (i have this on my table near the window on the 6th floor but i can still pick it up outside the ground floor)

and of you are really serious about range: WRT54GX4 = 10X increase on standard wifi G caoverage

WRT54GS Version 1-3 then flash it with ddwrt and turn a $50 router into a $500 router :mrgreen:

belkin is expensive but very stable. linksys have this habit of freezing up from time to time.

gi unsa ninyo connect or set up ang linksys ? ive just bought a linksys wireless g router....im having so much trouble setting it up ! ive followed the steps down to the letter!!! pls help! im on globe broadband ,,, unsa na cya type nga internet connection,,,, pppoe or pppoa ,

Yes go for Netgear... Swap mo na linksys yan its gives you a head ache geeeee.
