Getting my admin to remove the entire thing and make a new one pero the guys who made my forums arent with me anymore, my new admin still learning hehehehe. Can any1 trace these guys?

Sir Ryan naa ra ko I thought sige mo update sa boards.. Basta phpBB gani atimanon gyud na nimog upgrade kay daghan na nga websites that uses phpBB ang na-hacked.

For those who will start or install new online forum i suggest u use http://www.mercuryboard.com/ (Mercury Board). Very nice forum & well thought gyud. Of course its also free. If you are a php programmer u can really appreciate the admin section and it uses 3D permissions system.

Sir if you want, i can install a new forum using Mercury Board.

ive been using SMF(simple machine forums).. its easier to manage.. and havent seen or heard mysql injection with the SMF.

though its not as active in developemtn with the PHPBB.. its a very good altearnative.. speaciilay if you want to integrate it with a mamboserver CMS.

IF this hasnt been resoleved yet.. try to check if you have a backup of the mysql datase.. most web hostings has backups of the sites they are hosting.. if you still have it.. then restore the backup then lesson learned.. PATCH it.. PHPBB offers it in their hotlist of Secuirty UPDATES.

and btw. this lamers are not "hackers".. there is a ready made application to do this injection thing.. and tried it myself in my own testing live server.. to see how the application behaves.. and yes.. its a READY made.. so anyone who could have done that in your site is "surely" a noob.. sa dami daming pwede i exploit yung site mo pa.. what a shame.
