Default Re: OBLATION RUN SA UP ..what can you say?

you're saying that fanaticism is not your approach but it does seem like it.
    you think so? enlighten me.

i just want to know if your indeed from UP to justify your being "die hard" but if you refuse to answer that then it is your prerogative.
what makes you think i come from UP?

dress up like chickens in boy scouts uniform to attract attention
anybody from UP-APO here? LytSlpr just gave a brilliant suggestion!
LytSlpr, why don't you personally convey this suggestion to APO organizers of "stupid" (i hope you won't mind me quoting you) oblation run? they might consider it. i'm crossing my fingers.

Yes, you reinforce something from a link in which anybody can edit. You weren't taught well by your research professors in school. Don't call wikipedia spoon-feeding, it will ruin their credibility.

You're the one who missed the point. I know those words are a few of the students' sentiments. What I'm driving at is that only members who believe on those words written, which would be a very few, should run and not just run for the sake of running.

My point of view of the OBLATION RUN :

    - I dont see it as a tradition of UP but a tradiiton of APHiO , why dont all APhiO members participate in it ? Based lang siya sa UP OBLATION .

    - Action speaks louder than words , true but they are not loud enough . Theyve been doing the OBLATION RUN for more or less 30 years now ... was there a major change of the demands ? I see it as a TRADIITON rather than being a PROTEST . If they did it in front of MALACANANG and running back and forth all day , kana mo tuo pa ko .

    - I have great friends who are APhiO members , they dont really care about it . Its a waste of time according to them . You can be heard more effectively other than running butt naked also . So to make it short , it is again a tradiiton rather than a protest . Its not even covering more than half of the active chapters in the Philipines .

    OT @ GODSAINT ...

APO is much better than any other frats. At least they have their cause. What can you sayTau,Ak?
I have nothing against Alpha Phi Omega . They are one of the frats I admire but just basing the OBLATION RUN that they are better is wrong and dumbfounded . That is just plain POLITICS to those who never got a clue at all !!

AKP may not have a cause like APO running naked but we are also the only frat that emerged from the University Belt that is not an UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION .

On the other hand , AKP is the only existing fraternity in the Philippines kung asa nangayo ug pasaylo and paid their dues ang APO . Now that is indeed a feat and a milestone !! That is real and a factual claim which nobody even knew about it ! When leaders talk , members listens . Mao leaders should talk to leaders ... that kind of level . Mabuhay Aplha Phi Omega !

you could read my post a thousand times and i assure you that i never called "wikipedia as spoon-feeding".
    it will ruin their credibility
what credibility are you talking about? you exaggerate.
You weren't taught well by your research professors in school
a hit below the belt. just because i inserted a link from wikipedia, you came up with an inference that i wasn't taught well. that is a very misleading statement.

You're the one who missed the point. I know those words are a few of the students' sentiments.
i gather from your previous posts that you're not even fully aware of the issues being presented in the oblation run. yet you claim you know those words?

    haha.

di na ko mo dungag sa gi istorya ni bai spring ba.

i have said my opinion na. i think it is a stupid APO/UP tradition, whichever's which and so does the rest of the general public. instead of creating awareness for their protest, the public's focus is more on their means and the public does not understand it. it will become an insignifican tradition in the future particularly in the malling/console games generation.
