Depends on your budget. Planning is key if you're on a shoestring budget. Please see the ones I've highlighted.

First step to getting to El Nido is to fly Cebu Pacific from Cebu to Puerto Princesa (PP). Please inquire with any Cebu Pacific office. Please note that flights to El Nido from PP are only thrice a week so you have to schedule it well. other options are taking a ferry from Sabang OR taking a bus from PP to El Nido.

The fastest and most direct way
to El Nido is from Manila. The flight takes approximately one hour
and thirty minutes and lands directly at El Nido airport, about 4km
north of El Nido, on the coast. You can catch local tricycles which go
into town after scheduled arrivals, cost P150. Flight reservations may
be made through El Nido Resorts.

stop over in Busuanga. From El Nido to

Boat for Hire: From Sabang to El Nido Every Monday and Thursday 6:30 AM (0918-5066123) Fare: Php 1,500.00 Sabang to El Nido, Php 1,200.00 Port Barton to El Nido.

Bus: From Puerto Princesa-El Nido (7-8 hrs) cost Php 300.00
Bus or Jeepney: From Taytay-El Nido (1.5-2 hrs) cost Php 150.00

I think you have to take a boat from Honda Bay.

Personally I would skip Puerto Princesa, except for the Underground River in Sabang, and head on to El Nido.

sa akong tour last novemebr, i stayed at skylight hotel in puerto princesa, went ot underground river and nag island hoping ko sa honda bay, then city tour....they said you havent experience palawan if d ka adto sa el nido.....ambot lang kaha pud
