we'll APO is great fraternity tho, compare to some other frat who are nuisance in public.
but they should have altenate means in getting some Pledgees
similar with THE SKULLS movie,(if you want to be a member you got to earn it with a high scholastic record or a lLeader not this kind of sh*t... this madness!, there's no morale in this kind of initiation.

What difference does it make if he's from UP or not?

if LytSlpr's brother is from UP and an APO member, then i guess he could enlighten LytSlpr about the oblation run tradition. i believe someone who has undergone or is directly associated with the tradition, can best elucidate and defend it.
just a clarification: i don't mean that non-UP APO fraternities are second-rate or inferior to UP APO fraternities, if that is how you interpreted my previous post.

Majority of us don't like our UPD counterparts anyway. UP chapters all over the Philippines organize this thing called the oblation run which majority of the runners aren't even from UP but from different schools within the metro. Wouldn't it be wrong protesting the tuition fee increase of a school you don't even go to?

so you're an APO member. gee, im defending APO's oblation run to an APO member. would it be too much to ask if you're from UP? disclaimer: i am not an APO member.
if there are non-UP members joining the oblation run, it is the prerogative of the APO to do such. it is their tradition anyway and i think that is part of their so called "brotherhood".
i don't find anything wrong with non-UP APO members joining the run. not only UP's tuition fee increase is being protested. different national and local issues (depending on the UP campus) are brought up in the oblation run. issues like increasing state subsidy not only of UP but other state universities and colleges, extra judicial killings, ang walang kamatayang resign gloria protest, etc.

pahabol: not only neophyte/aspiring APO members join the run. the oldies join too.
