You ain't said he's fast but your trying to speculate that he's fast enough to swat that ball instead of his head. I think you misunderstood me. "Ford is faster than any other player can reckon" in that play. Im not saying he's the fastest among players. what i meant is he's faster than horford that time.

It's like you're posting about a recent occurrence without the proper documentation and just posted for the heck of it. That sure is a fun thing, huh?

So, you're really sure that Horford's not going to make the block? And if he did, everybody's going to call it a flagrant foul instead of a clean block? Swiping the head is far more different than swiping the ball...you probably know about it.

Let's see, I pretty much know about the suspension and it's actually expected at the most expense. The art of basketball seems to be a little off... What the...

    Tsk... tsk... tsk...

it's easy to come clean and say "i never meant to hurt anybody"(im just trying to whack hard somebody enough to cut his flexes for them to lose touch on freethrow) after tragic things happen. sometimes post-game apology or statement is somewhat more real than what he think during the play.

Flagrant fouls are good and reasonable grounds for suspensions whether it's intentional or not. That's to make it fair for everybody.
It's the NBA, players know what they're doing, and they're a cut above the rest. Take note that being good defensively is not enough since they have to go and challenge way, way better offensive players.
organized basketball? well, im not here to boast it up, since ur here to ask me . my answer is YES to that. I've not tried it, I played it. almost everyday. of course if i were the horford chasing ford in there i would have fouled him either but not the way he did it. it's more of a volleyball(head) spike.

Now you're on the same context, go for the foul. That's what exactly Al Horford did but it just went awful with the help of TJ Ford's speed. I don't think there's still a need to reiterate all the factors including physics because it was already discussed previously, I believe.

perhaps people's different understaning of the game is the main reason at all for this argumentative discussion. the way you see it, so be it, the way i see it, that was it.

horford is on his way down when he use that strong arm to him. i hope that could enlighten people before making views or opinion of some sort. there's no way a defender can block a shot when he's on his way down while the opposite player still on his way up specially in a fading direction. some folks said he can block it when he really cannot. that is how physics apply.

Al Horford was on his way down and there's nothing much he can do to change his direction, all he can do is reach as far as he can to go for the block or for a foul.

Here's physics: Horford was going straight, TJ Ford was going to the side, he's in the position perpendicular to Horford and he's the speedy type of player. Ford was fast enough to elude Horford and that's why he was hit on the head. If he was not that fast enough, Horford could've got a more decent foul.

Don't take for granted the fact that Horford tried to block Ford when he was still on his right side. When Horford went up, Ford shifted speed and direction, went to Horford's opposite direction and went for a reverse lay-up.

Positioning, distance, speed, and the angle will tell.

Horford is responsible for what he has done and getting a game's suspension is enough but just because it was bad than it should be doesn't mean that he did it intentionally.

Well, if that's your view then so be it. Let's just wait for another player being slapped with a flagrant foul and accuse him of doing it intentionally.

    NBA News:

Washington signs Mike Wilks to replace injured Antonio Daniels. Wilks, a 5-year NBA veteran, will not receive a guaranteed contract since the Wizards are avoiding to surpass the luxury tax trigger of $67.86M. Wilks averaged 3.0 points and 0.8 rebounds in 5 games with the Nuggets.

The Wizards now are in a shortage of quality guards after three-time All-Star Gilbert Arenas, and recently, veteran Antonio Daniels went down with injuries. Nevertheless, Washington is doing great without their star and reliable guards. DeShawn Stevenson has gone out of his shell lately.

Thus,we have different views, opinions, insights, evaluation for that play. There's no way i can push my thoughts to anybody and make them believe what they dont want to believe. Let's accept it and make it live in our respective minds and thank God for Ford's health.

    Today:

Duncan's 36 pts n 17 rebs. wasn't enough to handle the Suns at home.
