from what i remembered, during a radio interview that i heard, Ely Buendia started not showing up in rehearsals and some gigs. He then finalized his leaving the band with a text message, something like "it's time to go our separate ways".
the band did a lot for the music industry, they opened doors for collaborative projects and alternative music. now, the same is being carried on by Raymund Marasigan. However, no one will be able to live up to what Eraserheads has done.

i don't like eli's new band.. you are referring to the mongols, right?
and i believe i am not alone in this sentiment. the filipino crowd didn't embrace the mongols as much as they embraced the eheads before.
the eheads remind me of a movie.. that thing you do.. remember? kato naa si liv tyler? like sikat pa kaayo sila then one member gave up and everything fell down. tsk tsk. oh well. at least we still have their songs to remember them by.
