you cant rely to much on reviews ma friend.... Titanic got bad reviews when it came out and yet its one of the best films in history. you probably read about their kick off show before the Tour. which Sting himself admitted that the start-up was a bit dull in his opinion....

i dunno whats there not to love about Sting and his music?

STING and his drummer were enemies. The Police's drummer (STEWART) is envy of STING's success as a singer and a songwriter. STEWART must be the one who made this list.

This is a foolish list of worst songwriters, for example it included Paul McCartney the man who wrote YesterdaY, Let It Be, Eleanor Rigby, Blackbird, etc.. Bernie Taupin the man who wrote "Like A Candle in the Wind" and most of elton john's songs. Robert Plant wrote "Stairway to Heaven'. Jim Morrison ,the american poet, wrote "Light My Fire". Diane Warren wrote "Because You Loved ME", Un-break my heart, I could not ask for more, Picture of You, etc.etc.

Do you think Worst songwriters can write songs like that?

My favourite Sting song. The verses have this beautiful off-kilter nature which makes this an uncommon love song. It's as if Sting is saying 'I have hopes and I have demons but we can have a great time together'.
