Thats the problem, when people are accused they say, its mere assumption. Then, when they are given the chance to explain themselves, they wont. They just keep silent hoping that people will forget.

First things first , before we throw also those ACCUSATIONS , at least it has a basis and not just a mere issue to talk about , then stirred and then sensationalized in favor of those who cant accept as LOSERS .

Then, when the accusations linger, they would repeat the mantra, itw all accusations.

How would it linger when it is baseless ? last time I checked , all the accusations thrown on PGMA was NEVER proven because it is baseless .

Without it, we are engaging in speculations. that's basically the reason why I DON'T BELIEVE IN SURVEYS, all surveys for that matter specially if it's politically inclined. all the more if it involves different generations like what Pulse Asia just did. that alone got me thinking because I'm very sure not everyone of those interviewed were born in Cory's time much less Marcos' time.

how can they (Pulse Asia) come up with a scientific result if that's the case? how can respondents such as those give a fair assessment?

and I wonder why YOU ALWAYS BELIEVE THEM specially if it's got something to do with the administration....

sometimes it is essential to ask simple yet relevant questions before believing in such surveys... don't you think?

The ongoing poll results had Marcos leading followed by Erap with GMA a close third. I dont think more than 70 percent of people posting here are more than 30 years old.

Most people here were not even born in 1986 but look at the results!

They choose Marcos even if they had no first hand experience of living under that regime and I didnt hear you complaining about the age bracket of people voting here. Why? Because the results are favorable to Gloria Arroyo?

poll here in istorya is based on members of istorya.net and majority are cebuanos or visayan's, and you should know better... and in fact, one of the blogger or comment from one of the blog that was link here says "gloria, the president of cebu", you should get a hint from it by now (wink wink). if you bringup this pool in luzon, you will most probably get a favorable result (the one that you want).

back to poll topic... history alone, even you were not yet born during marcos era, you will know how corrupt he is and his circle of friends ... 20 years... thats two decades, 240 months of corruption and making a corruption part of our government dna/genetics.

yes sometimes survey could be misleading if the survey would be made in what they called "Balwarte".In manila naturally people would vote for GMA as tha most corrupt because they know better their president.Her in cebu people would vote against marcos or Erap because Visayas is for Gloria.In Leyte or Ilocos region region they will not surely vote for Marcos as the most corrupt.

if there is a survey to be conducted in the whole Philippines,maybe that survey will be more reliable.

I believe the Pulse Asia survey methodology hav taken care of that problem of age bracketing. They are already experst in the business. I believe in the regularity of the survey. If you have doubts on it and you want to question, the burden is now on your part to prove it. The accuser should prove not the accused. of course you believe in Pulse Asia's methodology. of course you believe in their expertise. who wouldn't?

why question the result when they are ALL IN YOUR FAVOR.

there's no need for proof. I was just giving you some points to ponder. points that could in one way or the other shake Pulse Asia's survey results.


The same cannot be said of here in istorya. Not a few unabashedly admit that they were not even born yet when EDSA 1 occured or if they ever be, they are too young to comprehend whats going on? So there is now a proof that the results of the ongoing poll saying Marcos is the most corrupt leader is according to individuals who are still toddlers during the Marcos regime. I'm even wondering why you even bother. is it really that hard to swallow if some other poll result don't list PGMA as the most corrupt?

Martial Law (1972-1981) - that means you were still 9 nine years old when it ended. then what's your claim? that you've grown up and experienced the hardships of that era?

Last elections, TUTA pipol discredited SWS and Pulse Asia surveys. They even claim they can win 12-0 because the opposition have no candidates in most provinces.

May 14 came, Genuine Opposition blasted the TUTA 8-2 but Bedol came in and robbed Koko Pimentel of victory thats why it became 7-3.

Now you know why I believe in surveys and you dont.
