    ^ let's try an experiment

you work graveyard shift, sleep for 3-5 hours only (or sleep irregularly, like gimik pa ka after work, etc.), then hayag imo room where you sleep.

then let's see if you'll get cancer or not. JOKE JOKE JOKE! heheh just kidding hap

for me bro, even without the study, our inner knowing tells us it's good to have dark and light balance and sufficient sleep.

LONDON - Like UV rays and diesel exhaust fumes, working the graveyard shift will soon be listed as a "probable" cause of cancer. It is a surprising step validating a concept once considered wacky. And it is based on research that finds higher rates of breast and prostate cancer among women and men whose work day starts after dark.

    is this true?
i've read the same issue regarding not having enough sleep (especially graveyard shift) would disallow certain levels of immune system produced only during sleeping at night...its in the Nov. 2007 issue of Reader's Digest.

maybe that's because of the radiation exposure from computer while working straightly for many hours.

    ...just my opinion
