Default Re: SE P5i- The "Ultimate" Smartphone

Hehehe. I can really see your frustration comicGeek. I wish palm would have just come up with an ultimate device, sayang kaayo, still the best platform for me and I love palm desktop. Tsk Tsk.

So far, business wise, I have to admit, I still love my P990, wish it had the speed of the P1i, non the less, sa n95 was hard for me business wise. Why I am not upgrading to the p1i is because of the keyboard interface. It just slows me down, and getting rid of the dpad was a terrible mistake.

And by business wise I mean:
-Touch screen: get to where I want to go quicker
-Contact management: I put all my contacts in folders segrated by categories that are essential to me and so far the ease of this is on the P990i and P1i. I can send to a group quicker, or I can search for a name in any category quicker. And one contact can have multiple categories.
    -Task, Calendar etc..
-vjsingh golf hehehe (business and pleasure)
-3rd party aps na ang uban like worldmate, handy safe, MSdict, sudko etc..

I hope with all the mistakes they have made, they will come up with a good p5i, I hope lang. If not, mag iphone nalang ko hehehehehehe!

@comicGeek: I share some of the sentiments you have over the P series. Sayangan gyud ko as they started things right with the p8, then the p900 & p910. When UIQ 3 came out with the p990, phew! Plummet dayon ang P series. It was make or break gyud. The "revolutionary" p990 (with what they bragged as powerful will WiFi and the 3mp cam) turned out to have lots of bugs.

@Ryan: bai, remember when we three (comicGeek, you and me) had a great thread on apps & themes before? Man...

Sayangan gyud ko sa P series. Sakto si kelvin, symbian is nice, but UIQ3 still has huge leaps of improvement to be made.

In the end, cowards are those who follow the dark side.
