actually depende na cguro na sa inyo management kon willing sila mo spend for an upgrade of your system. pero kon naa mo in-house programmers then you can propose nga inyo e upgrade since sa imo pa gi ingon daan na para sad maka kat-on mo in the process og new language or ma enchanced inyo skills.

bro, imho, I think it all depends on the nature of your business.

if you think that later in the future your company will grow bigger and bigger and will require or will need to adapt to more or other business applications, then you definitely need to upgrade your application to languages that are more scalable like C# or Java EE.

if you think nga inyo existing systems karon mao ra gihapon ang work load in the future or dili gihapon kinahanglan mag-depend or mag-integrate sa lain nga mga business apps, then ok ra siguro visual fox pro na lang gihapon.

but i think mas-adviceable gyud i-upgrade ug more up to date platforms.

and personally, i would recommend Java EE 5. it won't cost as much as .Net since it's free and teams up with open-source tools.

add lang ko opinion nko ha, dont need to upgrade f ok ra ang system, pero if you need additional functionality or planning to have and upgrade or add-on to your current system. den wa na ta mahimo ana mo ilis jud ka og program, migration na naman, hahay...

Para nako upgrade nalang mo daan. Kay older ang language mag lisod namo pangita og support usually mga programmers rn kay OOP languages na ang gipang-gamit. If you upgrade your system in upto date nga mga technologies such as .Net and Java dha wla kay problema pangita og support kay mao may trend rn.
