Default Gays and Lesbians in Churches

Morality, discussed here is based on the Bible's teaching, and not the relative morality of one's conscience.

Adherence and fidelity to the teachings of a faith-based organization SHOULD be a basis for rejecting or accepting a person as a leader of said faith-based organization. In the case of homosexuality, practicing such homosexual acts IS against the teachings of certain faith-based organization such as the Catholoc Church. Therefore, it makes perfect sense not to allow such persons who practice homosexual acts to be priests or nuns or Church leaders.

but....the issue here is "if we will allow gays and lesbians to church leaders"....and it is "before they even started to lead"....

i think what you are asserting here is the "moral issue" not the "leadership issue"....
Uhhm more of a moral issue, it's the fact that homosexuals especially those who are bold enough to advocate their being one already forfeits their privilege at taking religious vocations.. there is already a presence of a mere deviation and defiance to the teachings of the church..

same principle as with your former statement.. i believe had it been these enlisted personnel from PNP have criminal records or serious violations beforehand, then i think it's least likely for them to make it to the law enforcement institution..

    my opinion though

according to surveys, (and according to the church, its alarming) 3 out of 10 individuals say its ok for homosexuals to be allowed in churches.

and from the looks of it... the CONS are at it.

The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it.
