That's not the right word, but SHALLOW. Typically filipinos are shallow. Panghambug, murang kinsa, masuyaon, all our negative traits show nothing but shallowness. In fact even during elections, perting ka SHALLOWHA. Ubay-ubay man untang literate nato noh? Pero SHALLOW lang gyud.

lahi man ang hambug sa pinoy kay mura naman ug distinct... typical pinoys around the world... insecure when it comes to other races pero hambugero sa ilang isig ka pinoy. it's really funny but it's true, pinoys hang out with pinoy colleagues majorly because they think we're an inferior race, majority pud they're constraint to believing what professions ra ilang pwedeng masudlan, labi na narsing, wa'y laing mailhang high-paying profession kundi nursing ra, as in way lain? pero kapwa gani pinoy, haskang! abot pas langit ang hambug.

Sa tinuod lang mao nay dili naku masabtan, nga pinoys think and feel they're inferior, if only pinoys would raise up their thinking that we are all the same, puti, itom, brown... pareha ta tanan and there's equal employment opportunity diri sa states.

Mankind has thing called pride. We take pride of what we are ,what we have, and what we can do. Some Pinoys however just take it one step higher by showing up on some party (uninvited btw), then start telling people how he just bought a new house at an expensive subdivision, and how the new BMW he drove to the said party was paid in cash....... without anyone actually asking him.

    So yeah go figure.

I love the people and the people love me! Aside from this, mahilig mag-yabangan at mag-lamangan ang mga Pinoy sa kapwa nilang Pinoy. So Pinoys are very prone to the ravages of excessive consumerism to satisfy yung pangangailangan nilang mag-pasiklab — using stuff they could hardly afford — the latest celphones, luxury cars, tacky jewelry, and P80-to-P120-per-cup coffee in the top brand-for-gullibles cafe: Starbucks.
