condolence bro ( guys, cure is the not the key!!! prevention is! if u really love ur dogs, complete their vaccination programs!! 1 dose is not enough..dapat 3-4 shots mahatag sa pups na 5n1 aron sure gyud then yearly na after. ayaw mo wait na late na kay luoy au ang pups.. the shots costs 350 lang. if maigo na imo pup, mas mahal pa paadmit then magsuffer pagyud imo bestfriend..pls, if u really love them take care of them and make sure updated ila shots.. thanks

kasulay namo naay parvo virus inyong place then naa moy new pet 1 shot pa ang nakuha
then gidala sa infected area, though not sure if infected pa, basta naa to diha ang infected pup sauna
then gi laag-laagan sa new pup which is 1 shot pa ang na take... ok ra na? di matakdan ang new pup?

How is parvo spread?

CPV-2 is known to survive on inanimate objects - such as clothing, food pans, and cage floors - for 5 months and longer in the right conditions. Insects and rodents may also serve as vectors playing an important role in the transmission of the disease. All parvoviruses are extremely stable and are resistant to adverse environmental influences such as low pH and high heat. Exposure to ultraviolet light and sodium hypochlorite (a 1:32 dilution of household bleach - ½ cup bleach to 1 gallon of water) can inactivate parvovirus. The bleach solution can be impaired by organic matter and needs to have adequate exposure time and proper concentrations to work effectively. The normal incubation period (time from exposure to the virus to the time when signs of disease appear) is from 7-14 days. Active excretion of the virus in the feces can begin the third day after exposure, often before clinical signs appear, and may last for one to two weeks after the onset of the disease.

THE BEST PREVENTION OF PARVO IS IMMUNIZATION! Look parvo is an airborne disease that causes Gastrointestinal bleeding in your dogs... Once full blown (manifestations: bloody stool, vomiting, salivating, refuses to eat, weakness ay goodluck na lang!) If one of your dogs is infected, get the others to the vet ASAP! Parvo does not manifests itself until it is too late! If your dog survives parvo, he must be an example of superb immune system and a product of good genetic make-up... Dr. Dela Cruz of Dog & Cat Clinic once scolded me for not having my dog vaccinated with parvo because if you really care for your pet you should start his vaccination by exactly 2 months. He told me that my pup has less than 40% of surviving but he could give supportive therapy if we liked. Believe me your dog's vaccination COST LESS than what you will spend for supportive treatment once your dog has parvo... I should know, 4 of my puppies died of this disease... How was I to know then...
