any feedback?
yes it is... compatible... i for a fact is using a laptop which is originally using a DDR 266/333 256mb... then ni palit kog 2pcs na 256mb DDR400... my laptop is fine... im using it as i post this message to this thread...
O.T dili ba ako imong gipasabot sir... kay nag baligya manko ug DDR400 SODIMM 256mb...
hehehehehe...na pa sad isa bro, pero ask lang ko feedback from other istoryans ba aron pod ko ka kuha ug ideas to support such claim..no offense bro.

what i heard from some professional pc/laptop technician... if the mobo is supporting DDR 266/333... unya gamitan nimo ug DDR400... dili magamit gyud ang full frequency na DDR400... only DDR333...and the machine would work fine...
im not sure of this because im not a professional pc/laptop technician... but ni take lang sad kog risk... total ang laptop na akong gta-uran is karaan naman... second hand... no risk of voiding the warranty because im not the first owner of the laptop... in fact i bought the RAM from an ISTORYAN KE-25... nice kaayo ka deal kay he is willing to let me test it to my laptop without completing the purchase of the said memory module
pero para mas mka sure si SIR ashrock... test it before completing the purchase...
none taken sir!Originally Posted by ashrock

One thing i would clarify diay, once i put this DDR-400 256MB SODIMM sa akong laptop, dili ni mo complicate sa akong isa ka DDR-266 256MB nga naka taud na sa akong laptop?
Everyone refer to this: http://www.crucial.com/kb/answer.aspx?qid=4003
Although these are all types of double data rate (DDR) memory, the varying numbers refer to the different speeds of memory your computer was designed for. Crucial no longer carries PC2100 (DDR266) memory, but PC2700 (DDR333) memory and PC3200 (DDR400), which are backward-compatible with PC2100 (DDR266).
They keyword is "backward-compatible."
Hope that enlightens everyone.
