I'm still convinced that american call centers exist in philippines because of we speak good english, salary is low and unemployment is too high. I too came from that similar condition pero engineering work lang to amoa. Ila tawag ato is work-share and they make a lot of profit kay salary sa 1 american engineer is worth 5 to 10 filipino engineers. Imagine kung pilay output sa 10 engineers compare sa 1.
still, it's somehow a national security issue in Skorea...american bases & other consumer businesses are entirely a different story from call centers...it's an IT industry...
mao sb btaw dghan US bases did2 ky it's a military issue...i read it somewhere, kalimot lng ko asa to...
Call centers exist here especially in Cebu coz sakto gyud for this kind of investment...the pros are just too high to consider the cons...

Pinoys in SKorea is a diff. story. Maybe wala discrimination did2.
And yes, true that naa pud Koreans ma-hold up, mapusilan or nailad. but it all applies to everyone including lumad Cebuanos...
My only point is, here in Cebu, there are a few undesirable Koreans who discriminate Pinoys (like the Margot O case), and those damn deceiving Korean tour guides...mao ra na akoa point.
