Trillanes is still somewhat "lacking up there", you know why?

why did People Power succeed? 3 things: people support, military support and extreme circumstance (martial law / 20 years of oppression.. remember?) which I think neither a bishop, a priest, a military general, a screenwriter and a former vice president can replace.

Trillanes knows all too well those important ingredients for a coup to succeed having experienced it first hand. he also knew about the why's and why nots of the other previous failed coups. 1 military general is not the whole armed forces. street vendors, mendicants, onlookers, civilians on street corners don't comprise 63M Filipinos. as far as the screenwriter and the vice president, I'm still leaning on personal agenda as to their presence. with regards to the priest and the bishop, are both as well-known and as highly regarded as the late Cardinal Sin? I don't think so.

that is just a very simple analogy why Trillanes' strategy won't and will never work. but he still went ahead with it. the first failure was understandable. the second is plain stupidity.

How do you know that it was all the strategy. For all we know, it was just a trial baloon for bigger things to come. The EDSA people power style will not work this time. The GMA admin had already plug all the holes so that any uprising could not achieve a critical mass. For the coup to succeed it should be bullet against bullet. TV and radio stations shall be attacked first, then seize big military camps like Crame and Aguinaldo, capture Esperon and get the support of the field commanders.

I dont believe Trillanes is that stupid to stage an act like that if he was not thinking of something else.
