got unusually high today.

as i have all the time i need these days, i decided a trip downtown would do me good. kanang maglaruy-laroy nga walay tumong gani...aw naa diay tumong oi...mangita ug cheap buys!

so i went to carbon market / freedom park to possibly buy a laundry basket. much to my surprise, wa jud ko samoki sa carbon! i was thrilled to see the colorful parols and fresh flowers all around...so therapeutic to the senses. and the baskets! my oh my, ka nindot, ka humot...naa pa jud mga native trays and christmas wraps and decors...maygani wa ko na carried away...ka paliton kaayu ko pero wa man koy gamitan pa adto, so postpone...self-control.

ug wala ko kapalit ug laundry basket coz i got so distracted LOL. there were so many kinds of baskets...perhaps I should shop around first. then my oh my, kay 6PM na, the ukay-ukay sellers started displaying the clothes and all...sus i got all the more curious and excited.

UKAY-UKAY...at last!

so for the first time, nakapalit na jud ko ug ukay-ukay! it wasn't planned, but destined...wahahahah. i complained many times in the past that i just didnt have the chance to go ukay-ukay...so this was it!

STUFF for NEXT TO NOTHING

naa juy 3 for 100...i thought barato na na until i found stuff for P10! oh my goodness...i got tempted to look for tag P1.00

so this may not be frugal coz impulse buying gihapon, but guess what, with P240 pesos I got 11 items!

@Velvett....na parehas man ta oi...went to carbon the other day kay wanted to buy baskets....then ka huna2x ko to get sleeveless guitar shirts for my hubby and my baby nya puhon...mao man gud na pambalay namo dire...as in among mga bata always wear guitar shirts sa house....so anyway ...sulod ko ug tindahan ...sus wholesaler man diay to sila....na pag gawas nako na human nako akong Christmas shopping for all the kids (kabalo baya ka sa ka daghan bata dire sa amo!)....kay unsa ba nga ang half a dozen sando and shorts (yes pair na jud!) nice prints jud sa blouses/shirts....tag 150 ra man! ....na surprise ko oi nga 150 for 6 pairs.....nahulog ra ug tag 25 pesos ang pair! So goodbye SM...carbon here i go for my Christmas shopping he he he....and take note...di ni siya ukay-ukay ha...we are talking of wholesale brand new items here....

naa man mamaligyaay daghan pero katong around 6pm nanghabwa sila sa mga sacks of clothes then gi "sale" sa ilang mga lantay. mao jud ni ang ukay-ukay time kay mangukay man ang mga tawo...liman ba ka ug tag P10 or 3 for P100. the hung ones are already mahal...mga 150 pataas.

apir! hehehe...lage nindot na ni nga destination ang carbon if we want to stretch the peso. tinuod if gifts lang hisgutan pwede kaayu didto kay daghan wholesalers. then if we want to wrap them in style kay naa jud ang mga baskets and native wraps. mao ra na sila ang naa sa dept stores, mas mahal na lang.

na karon sa carbon na jud ko ani permi hehehe

i grew up with a mom, who is so wise.. laking colon man ko..i used to hate it, when i was a kid kay sus! ako mga friends ad2 sila sa white gold or robinson's nya kami ni mama ad2 sa colon mamalit.. pero karon kay naka-appreciate na jd ko.. hehehe

ako, mangita jd kog "good buy" .. if i see something nice in the stores or in the malls, i look for it sa shops sa colon, kay usually. most of the time, kay naa jd na did2.. at a very lesser price.. and same same quality..
like kanang mga pang-kikay na stuff or accessories or clothes na nice..

but i have a lot of branded items also...of course quality comes pd with the price... nya if i know the quality cant be compromised.. i spend of it..
usually i spend a lot on shoes..

sa carbon pd kay, daghan jd barato diha... u just have to know where to look kay daagghaan jd kaau nang barato diha...

sak2 jd na ! samot na karon ting pasko! sus! we need to make sulit every piso we have para matagaan ang tanan.. daghan jd nice na stuff sa carbon oie.. we can buy it , without sacrificing the quailty..

na! laking carbon man sad ko..colon, nya lahos dayn sa carbon..
up until now.. we go to carbon ..kanang sunday or saturday sa kaadlawn.. mangarbon ni mi mama.. usahay kay mag-bonding mi did2 tibuok pamilya ..mangompra..
para di mag-inarte ako mga manghud..

hehehe..if ad2 mi kay mo-ana dayn ko sa akong mga manghud.. "hala , palita inyong tana gus2 paliton.." (kay barato ra jd kaau)

di man jd kaau na huot ang carbon.. pero naa juy times na daghan jd mamalitay..labi na kanang buntag sayo sa sabado ug dominggo.. mao nang daghan ug taw.
limpyo bya ang carbon karon, maybe because the vendors already know how to put their trashes in the right place..

anyways, ang "frugal lifestyle" apllicable kaayo na natong tanan karon , in this season of sharing..

I went gaga kahapon. Naay store sa Glorietta na nagsale sa ilang items worth 1000, kay 100 nalang. Chiffon pa gyud ang materials. Then naay tiangge na 150 lang ang shoes. Nahangyo pa nako ug 100 nalang, hehehe...

Naa na koy nasuot for Christmas and New Year parties, yahoo! I love good finds!
