if a guy has a long-distance girlfriend and a fling at the same time, most likely he will stick with the girlfriend though he will also show his fling that he's interested. it could also be true that the guy may fall for the fling but in the end, he will choose the girlfriend (considering that he's in love with the girlfriend, of course). im not saying this applies to all but i think ive heard lots of stories like this. and besides if you're with a guy who has a girlfriend, what are the chances that he won't have another girl if you two end up together? zero diba?
