i mean.... is it really worth marching from mindanao to luzon? even if at at the end of their long journey, its not even an assurance that their blisters and exhaustion would be compensated with a piece of land.

yes,if thats what they will have to do to be heard..i mean, hindi biro ang kinilang ginagawa.sometimes kasi you have to take a leap of faith on things, wala man rin kasi nangyayari sa kaso nila. i believe this is another case of manipuaiting the law for someone's gain..

    LET'S CROSS OUR FINGERS NALANG.

these farmers r correct in their move in going to the SENATE, not Malacanang. Otherwise, they will just be barking at the wrong tree.
Clearly, this is a legislative matter to tackle, not executive. That is why i think the president didnt even bother to budge at this issue.

anyway, this walking protest from bukidnon to manila, that is one way of voicing out peacefully and creatively...just like the nude protests somewhere...

LOUD & CLEAR MESSAGE but walay maamong ug masamok...

btaw, this is not funny...luoy bya jud ni cla...

people, here's some update from the Inquirer (opinion): "What is the DAR secretary waiting for?"

    http://opinion.inquirer.net/inquirer...icle_id=105865

    here's part of it:

..."The landowner failed in its commitment to make the development. Instead, the landowner sold the land to San Miguel Foods Inc. (SMFI).

Under the rules, the successor in interest to the property is bound by the terms of the approved conversion. SMFI plans to put up a piggery with 162 buildings to house 4,400 female pigs and 44,000 piglets and also to put up a slaughterhouse. Compare this SMFI project with the originally approved conversion plan. The former was peopleā€™s welfare-oriented; now it is pig-oriented! Did the DAR secretary approve the change in orientation?

What is most painful for the farmers is that they had already won Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) which were registered in the Register of Deeds, only to be revoked to give way to the bogus promise of development. What more is DAR waiting for?"

MURAG ANG DAR SECRETARY ANG NAKAINGON GYUD ANI DAH!!!...TSK...TSK...
