Here's good news for Nuggets fans:
As expected, Martin, with a bruised bone in his right knee, did not play against the Pacers, but Coach George Karl said, "We're very hopeful" that Martin will play in Denver's next game which is Thursday at the Los Angeles Lakers .
Martin, who is returning this season from right knee surgery, bruised his knee Saturday in Houston.
I heard, also, that the Nuggets are looking to boost their frontcourt and see if they can sign a reliable big man. Among those that are available include:
Mark Jackson
PJ brown
Alan Henderson
Danny Fortson
Vitaly Potapenko
CWeb
Jelani McCoy
...or S&T na lang kaha for Anderson Varejao. Hehe... Pwede sad Chris "The Birdman" Andersen!!

Minnesota's Marko Jaric was "overachieving" after dating supermodel
Antoine Walker joked that Minnesota Timberwolves teammate Marko Jaric was "overachieving."
The reference was not to the guard's recent hot shooting, but that the native of Serbia is dating Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima.
The romance certainly hasn't hurt Jaric's play. He scored 21 points and the Timberwolves protected a big lead for a change to get their second victory of the season, 103-94 over the New Orleans Hornets on Monday night.
Having scored over 20 points in two straight games, Jaric smiled when told teammates had insinuated that his relationship with Lima had been a source of inspiration.
"Maybe that's the thing, I don't know," Jaric said. "They can joke for now. We won, so that's fine."
Minnesota has seen a more promising trend in the play of Jaric, who has scored in double figures in three straight games.
"I just feel confident," said Jaric, now in his sixth season. "I see the team needs me, Coach feels confidence in me, and I just try to us my opportunity."
Jaric had had 12 points in the half, which he ended with a 3-pointer that gave Minnesota a 58-37 lead.

Boston routs New York, 104-59. The Celtics fell short of their franchise record of winning margin of 51 points.
Nevertheless, it was a good way to bounce back after losing to the Cavaliers.
