yup yup yup! one thing every successful internet cafe owner would say, is that YOU have to be able to FIX COMMON PROBLEMS!!! ayaw pagsalig ug Technician. Kanang technician para rana ayo ug monitor, powersupply AVR, and other serious electronic devices. you must be able to know how to replace/repair case cooling fans, etc. YOU WILL LOOSE MONEY IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX COMMON PC PROBLEMS. But if you do, you will significantly save money and earn more.

kay maski P15/hour lang imo CAFE dako naka ginan cya basta ikaw ang usa sa mo dala labi nag trouble sa unit kabalo from hardware to software...
mokita god ka ana og almost 50,000/month if naa naa ka sa nindot nga pwesto w/c is usa na sa imo plan if tukod ka busnes...

Newbie po ako dito. hindi ko maintindihan yung ibang usapan nyo pero share ko na din yun experience ko regarding internet cafe. my family own 1, with 25 units, start kami sa 7 units lang, dati isa lang kaming internet shop, then after 4 years, hindi ko na mabilang, kaya eto po, this summer, napakahina, mabo bored ka talaga sa pag iintay ng customers, marami na kase silang ibang choices, but im sure sa june ay ok na uli gawa ng marami na uling mga students.

regarding naman po sa electricity, super taas talaga, average kami ng 16,000 monthly, rental is 12,000, phone and DSL pa po...6,000, and may pinapasweldo pa, and maraming maraming iba pa, like tax, license every year, accountant....expenses is really big.

things you need to consider:

1.) place

2.) Income = (((rates *no hrs) * number of days/month) * UNITS) -(bills)
at least 10units up

3.) Dedication

you might also want to put other services like . printing, scanning, photocopy(clear copy), pay phone, snacks, and other sheme you might think of.

yes when school days, maganda income po, pero wag sana bababa sa 10 units kc palugi lang business nyo, DSL plus phone is around 6,000 per month, plus add kayo ibang services like printing, scanning, typing, cd burning, transfer of vhs to cd, and kung may space pa pwede din kayo tinda school supplies, some candies and snacks, tinda din kayo blank cd's, diskettes etc.

our expenses monthly for 25 units are:
1. electricity - 17,000 up
2. DSL - 4,000
3. phone - 1,200 up
4. salaries - 15,000 (2 bantay + 1 accountant)
5. shop rental - 12,000 (increasing yearly by 1,000)
6. monthly tax - 500
7. office supplies - 3,000 (bond papers, ink, cleaning materials, etc)

....dyan pa lang po sa expenses nayan, u need to generate 1,756 a day na po...may month na malaki expenses lalo na pag may nasirang pc na u need to buy the parts. now dahil vacation, nagbawas kami ng bantay sa shop, sayang pang sweldo kase. basta po in this kind of business, mas malaki ang expenses kesa sa kita....
