well it would be sound to know that the january models are still LGA775 C2D/C2Q models. The reason why gusto ko ana nila is they are cheaper than the ones now.

well there were rumors na phased-out na nag sockets 754 & 939...& AM2 "might" be replaced with AM3.
but so far intel is holding on to the socket 775...
