[color=navy]No worries bro, I'll keep you updated on any new updates regarding call for submissions on local flash fiction. I'm sure they have it every year.

Anyways, again I am asking everyone-- where are your submissions to the "Project"? heheh

diem, submissions are still stuck at the back of our heads, i think. well, in my case, it's stuck on a couple of pages on my handy-dandy recycled notebook. i'll have you check it out once i get a couple more things sorted out on that one.

diem, i have the whole story inside my head. at the moment they are still scenes and images waiting to be translated into words. i plan to finish it by this weekend, though, so i can have something for you next week.

By the way, to the freelance web content writers out there, how much is the average/standard fee for a website project? What's the basis for it ba? I got an offer from an old colleague for a future project but I've never tried freelancing before (always been company-based).

    Take care, everyone.

[color=navy]^^@galenostiel, just speaking from personal experience, I think there's there is no "standard" rate for freelance writing. Though it's generally supposed to be PhP1.00 a word, but this is not often the case.

So, I guess what I am really saying is that the rate is often negotiable. It also depends on the nature and requirements of the project.

If you've got the right sort of credibility (such like a degree or specialty language: You can write in Spanish for example), experience and a portfolio to show of past works and projects, then you can negotiate for a higher rate that best suit your skills and efforts.
