There's no such thing as priest successor to the apostles. every believer is a PRIEST already, and our HIGH PRIEST is JESUS CHRIST, that's the reason why we could call on GOD directly. before JESUS CHRIST came, we need a priest because we can't go direct to GOD, only the priest can.

here's the verse that says that believers are priest and JESUS CHRIS is our high priest:
