but that is a healthy practice - reading the ingredients. a tip on this is to choose products with less sodium or no sodium in the ingredients.
sodium retains much water in our systems that will lead to hypertension and diabetis. those who got family histories should know this and as much as possible avoid or at least keep it in moderation.
unfortunately, salt and many preservatives are sodium based. thereby any canned product, instant food or drinks are not that all healthy.
But u can also remove/lessen sodium in our systems thru exercise.
As khitty may try to imply above - what is really safe to take nowadays when everything can be poison! All we have to do is choose them at our own risk.
Aquafire and the other estoryans are right in saying moderation is key...... plus keeping a healthy lifestyle to wipe out all the developed toxins in our bodies.
