sun service is not outstanding but it serves me well. got the P999 deal with 3 LG phones a year ago and to me its worth every penny. i am using a dual-sim phone now with globe as my primary sim and sun on the 2nd. i never bothered texting using the sun sim esp with the difficult-to-txt LG (free) phone. my globe bill has now increased as i'm lazy to text. i got used to the free calls of sun lately so i also make calls using globe most of the time.

sun using halfrate quality for their calls. its the only way that they can cater their unlimited calls promo. quality is not as good as smart and globe. also their frequency is fewer than smart and globe thus their coverage is limited. lots of deadspot because they are using mostly the 1800 band which covers smaller area compared to 900 band.

sun is growing but due to limited frequency, it cannot beat the top two telcos in terms of coverage.

I believe call quality of postpaid line is better than prepaid.

for the 3G, for sure sun will cater first the malls... but they are having a hard time in their GSM network, much more on their 3G.

unless Globe and Smart offers 3G service nga barato...mosaka tingali ang usage.
daghan tinuod ang naay 3G phones but 99% tingali ana nila dili kahibalo or wala kasabot ngano nag palit sila ug 3G phone ug para unsa ang 3G phone.

naa tinuod ka 3G phone but 100% of the time, naa ra ka sa "unlimited texting", "unlimited call"...sayang lang ang imo 3G phone. mahal ra ang phone nga imo gigamit para sa 2G services....laliman ka ug 3G phone but utilizing 2G services only.

Tingalig mao ni nga ang SUN nag duha-duha. Mahal baya ang 3G network, unya ang ila subscribers nag hulat lang ug 2G unlimited type of service...hehehehe
