stats-wise I'd say, Kobe has an edge lately, but even the Lebron's averages tell you he is the more complete player who can score, rebound, make plays, pass off, defend. I'm not saying Kobe can't, but Kobe is more the shoot-first type of player and Lebron is better off as a pass-first kind of guy. Both Kobe and LBJ are being compared to His Airness and it is but unfair for both of them. Yet sometimes, they just have to prove themselves.

Kobe's game is actually just being overshadowed by his scoring prowess. Kobe did have a double-double game in their opener against Phoenix, and during his stint with the USA Team, he showed that he can be a good team player too, he would normally lead the team in assists game after game. Kobe too is among to premier defenders in the league right now, a status where LeBron has yet to achieve and prove. . Plus his closest sidekick, Lamar Odom is too inconsistent. He's got no choice but to do it by himself.
