my close friend invested two hundred eighty thousand pesos for 12 computers only. that does not include the room renovation, legals papers, other facilities like aircons, fans, sound system, surveilance camera, electirical facilities and lightnings, tables, legal softwares, chairs, fire extinquisher, automatic emergency lights, biz name ads, and more.

all-in-all, they spent more than six hundred thousand pesos with 12 computers only. and thats only mid-ranged computers.

if you dont know much about computers and networking, thats another expensive cost to hire an expert to do the tasks.

and maintenance is a big headache if you only know the basics.....

My friend is planning to setup an Internet cafe...ginagmay ra, mga 12 units ra tingali.. gamay r mn gd iya budget muo ako ghatag na specs niya kay pang-light gaming and browsing ra.. I'm asking for your opinion,mga bros, if these are all the hardware stuffs that my friend needs.

Desktop PC (12units + 1server unit):
Processor = Athlon 64 X2 4000 Dual core Box
Mboard = ECS AMD690GM-M2
Harddisk = 80gb Western Digital 7200 SATA
Memory = Transcend 1GB PC667
Video Card = on-board 512mb shared (AMD690G)
Monitor = 15" LG 505G
Casing = Vader / Vortex / Pod 08/17/39 KM
Speaker = Headset w/ Mic black
AVR = AVR metal case 4 socket w/ 110v

*Server unit is the same with Desktop PC except for some add-ons.

Server Add-ons:
Speaker = Sonic Gear Tatoo 303 2.1 spkr w/ sub
UPS = ABLEREX UPS 500va
Floppy Drive = i-Tech 1.44 floppy drive black
DVD-RW = Lite-On 20x LH-20A1P

Other Hardware (Networking, etc):
Network Hub = TP-Link SF-1016D 16-port Switch
Cable = UTP cable per meter (100 m)

upgrade the graphics card.

if I am not mistake sa PCX ni siya nga set-up sa computer.
I think you can save more if you can order in manila.

yaw ka problema ana bro..kamao mn hinuon to ako friend og pc stuffs...niconsult lng xa nako sa mga hardware specifications na available dri sa cebu...naa p mn gd xa sa gawas rn..pero tnx for your suggestion bro..

Yea..sa PCX ni bro. Ako bitaw sad gsuggest niya ang Vcard..pero ang iyang target kay mga internet users gd dd2 sa ila dapit, dli au sa games. Muo ako nlng g.suggest ang mobo na naay AMD690G chipset kay atleast naay arangan na on-board GPU na makadaggan sa mga present games w/ commendable performance (dota, online games - rf, flyff, sro, etc).
