are Hoya lenses any good?

hi! my friend is selling his HOYA HMC 28mm WIDE ANGLE-AUTO LENS f/2.8 and i'm thinking about buying it. i just dont hear much about this lens so please share whatever comment you may have on this one. thanks!

Yes Its good.... but that lense your talking about has a serious price .
If its from your friend ask for discount, If not try considering other after markets
like Tamron and Sigma. Isnt' it Tokina

Hoya Lens is one of the biggest lens manufacturer in Japan it makes the lenses of most camera, eyewear, microscope or any optical equipment for that matter.

2 of my 5 filter is Hoya. Tokina glass is made by hoya.

nice mo lang

i was not actually expecting much but i was surprised at the very good focus and the sharpness. it only has manual focus though but i dont mind.
