Pause Dota 2

A Dota 2 match can last a few minutes or more than an hour. Over such a long period of time, it is highly likely that one in ten players may need to pause. In this article, we will cover everything you need to know about this feature in Dota.

Firstly, a pause in Dota 2 https://skins.cash/blog/expensive-dota-2-items/ is set and removed with the same key. By default, this is F9, but you can assign any other in the settings. Secondly, the pause is set instantly, but before it is removed, the players get three seconds to prepare. This time is counted by a special timer.

Only the player from the team that placed it can immediately release the pause. Opponents can also remove it immediately, but only if no one has disconnected from the game. Otherwise, it will be possible to do this only after 30 seconds.

Each player has two pauses per match. They can be used no more than once every five minutes. All these restrictions apply only to matches with live players. In the game against bots, you can pause as many times as you like and for any time.
