Lebron for MVP, Durant for ROY especially if their teams fare well in the regular season

Kobe for MVP for me (with the condition that Kobe won't be traded and the Lakers making it to the playoffs once again) and Kevin Durant for ROY.

And Phoenix Suns fans has got something to be happy about. Rookie guard DJ Strawberry drained in a winning triple with 3.3 seconds left as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets in a thrilling 116-113 win. Grant Hill led the balanced Phoenix attack with 17 points to lead 6 other Suns with double figures. The better part? Aside from Strawberry's winning three, the two rookies finished with double digits too, thus both can play and have fitted in in the Suns system pretty well. Strawberry finished with 14 points while Alando Tucker added 12. The game also marked the return of All-Star center Amare Stoudemire to the line-up. Stoudemire finished with 10 points and 6 rebounds in less than 19 minutes of action. Steve Nash had a double-double performance of 14 points and 10 assists.

The Suns survived the basically three-man attack of Denver. Carmelo Anthony finished with 24 points, Allen Iverson with 22, and JR Smith with 17.

In Boston's preseason finale, Kevin Garnett gave a glimpse of what to expect from him and proved why he's on top of the preseason's MVP race. Garnett finished off the preseason with a stellar 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists triple-double performance as the Boston Celtics blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers, 114-89. Ray Allen added 20 points for the Celtics while Paul Pierce finished with only 12 points. James Posey and Eddie House came off the bench and finished with 10 and 16 points respectively. Larry Hughes led Cleveland with 18 points while LeBron James finished with 17 points. Boston had 7 players in double figures in the game.

On the other game, after blowing out Cleveland in their first game, Toronto went on a rampage again, this time blowing out the Washington Wizards, 98-64. Jason Kapono led the Raptors with 17 points while Juan Dixon and Carlos Delfino both scored 10 points off the bench. Toronto star forward/center Chris Bosh just saw less than 17 minutes on the game and finished with 8 points. DeShawn Stevenson led the Wizards with 12 points while Antawn Jamison was limited to a lowly 6 point performance in a bad 3/12 shooting. Gilbert Arenas didn't suit up for Washington.

The Indiana Pacers relied on a very high scoring first half as they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 140-113, to close out their preseason bid. Indiana scored a total of 81 points (40 in the first and 41 in the second) in the first half compared to Memphis' 48 and never looked back. Second year forward Shawne Williams came off the bench and exploded for 26 points while Danny Granger added 21. Jamaal Tinsley had a great game finishing with a double-double performance of 16 points and 10 assists. Damon Stoudamire and Casey Jacobsen, who came off the bench, led Memphis with 16 points apiece. Andre Brown, also coming off the bench, added 13 for the Grizzlies. Both star players Jermaine O'Neal of Indiana and Pau Gasol of Memphis didn't play.
