E50 Texting problem

My sister is having problem with her E50, she cant send any txt messages regardless of the simcard used. signal strength is full.
I tried resetting the phone to its factory defaults and updating the firmware, still no avail.. but other communication functions still work like voice calls and receiving of txt messages.

Heard from several feedback from other people,That Sun Cellular is causing this kind of "damage"

have you check if the Message centre number is properly configured?
Usually that is the case-
you can receive but cannot send send SMS messages.

for Smart it's +639180000101
for globe it's 6391702 or 639170000130.
I don't know about Sun, i've never had a Sun SIM
