What are the best painkillers for period cramps? Please share what helps you the best

Simple ibuprofen is ok for me. For the first day (nightmare in my case) I order myself Midol complete from online pharmacy. It is quite strong in my opinion so wouldn't use it too often if possible. If your cramps get too strong it is not a bad idea to talk to your gynecologist about it.
