Mga bossing na road bikers patabang ko ninyo b. Naa koy plan mupurchase og road bike. Maximum budget is 30k lang mas maayo if dili kaabot og 30k . Im 5'5 1/2 and 145 lbs.
I really need your advice kay dili lalim ang kwarta, basin magpataka lng nya ko og pamalit. As in wla jud koy idea unsa dapat pilion like sa bike size etc.... Thanks in advcance mga idol!!.

bro i am about the same size as you and i just finished assembly of my road bike. all in all i think i have spent about 25k max for my bike. nabuhat ni nako since i am not brand conscious to start. if this is your first time to engage in biking maglisod jud ka pero i might be able to give you some points to ponder:

1. most of the frame sizes available here kay fit para sa atoang height (i am about 5'6")
2. consider your purpose in buying a bike i.e. is it for recreation, exercise, competition or suya suya lang. hopefully its not the last kay like you said dili lalim ang kwarta.
your purpose is what will dictate the cost of your bike.
3. are you looking for a built bike or do you want to assemble your own?

naa pa daghan considerations in deciding what bike to purchase like looks, durability, brand.

ang uban moingon nimo nga pangutana sa mga roadies but you will end up more confused than when you started kay lain lain jud ang mga tubag nga imohang makuha.

at the end of the day, ikaw ra gihapon ang makahibaw ug unsa ang maayo para nimo.

the best piece of advice i can really give you is don't go for the expensive bikes right away. find an entry level bike or even a second hand one. it's easier to upgrade afterwards and if sa imohang tan-aw nga biking is not really for you then mas sayon pud ibaligya ang bike if ever.

bro thank you kaayo sa imong info. ang purpose jud nko is exercise since asthmatic man ko, so i am sure nga dili lng suya suya akong purpose. im looking for durable rb bahala og wala kaayo looks bsta long lasting lang. anyway asa ka namalit og parts para sa imo new rb bro?

i got my parts from different stores. but here is the list of stores with corresponding parts i bought and the average prices

1. frames usually maka palit ka on average about 6k-10k. naa na ni siya kauban fork. you can find some at wellson sa legaspi street, jes enterprises sa leon kilat and avenue bike shop at v. gullas.

2. shimano group set ( includes sti shifter, brakes, front deraileur, rear deraileur) di kaayo ko familiar sa price cause buwag2 akoang pag palit ani but ang cheapest with good quality is shimano. ikaw nalang decide what model. available at wellson.

ang uban parts kay ikaw nalang ask sa mga stores.

dont forget to check ykk (beside wellson, cycle logic (parkmall) and bikology (banilad town center). these stores carry expensive brands but sometimes maka tsamba ug good deals.

also pag buffer lang jud ug about 5k on top sa imo budget kay ug mag.assemble gud ka ug bike sometimes mahinayak man gud ta ug palit ug parts nga nindot na medyo pricey pud also you have to consider labor inig assemble.
