Default Putting together a system. Need inputs

    Hello folks,

I'm considering of upgrading my system. CPU, board, and mem. Everything else I keep. I found the following initial prices from PCX:

    CPU
    Intel E6850 (3.0G) 1333FSB 4mb C2D 13470
    Intel Q6600 (2.4G) 8mb Core 2 Quad 13570

    Motherboard
    Asus P5PE-VM i865G agpV/S/L/C2D 2600
    ECS 662/1066T-M2 2290
    ECS 945P-AL 3110

    DDR2
    Transcend 1GB 800 ddr2 1820
    Kingston 1GB 800 ddr2 2290

I've got my eye on the Q6600 kai 100 pesos ra ang difference and I'm not very particular about the motherboard as long as it suits my needs like USB, LAN and SATA. I also want 3-4 pci slots for my sound card and a potential modem or lan. Why consider the last 2? Because my current system's built-in lan just died on me and I don't want surprises in the future. However, I noticed that PCX keeps a separate section for Core 2 Quad mobos and they range from around 5k+.

    Questions:
Lahi ba gud ang mobo sa Core 2 Quad?
Will the motherboards I listed above suffice? I'm only budgeting at most 3k for a mobo. di ko ganahan daghan ekek na ang mobo kai anyway goodbye ra man gyapon na along with the cpu if ever naa nasad lain maayo maabot in the future.
Aside from the negligible price difference between the above CPUs what other notable and major differences among the two?

Asus P5PE-VM is only ddr400 then imong gusto na ram is ddr800.
    ECS 662/1066T-M2 is ddr667.
    ECS 945P-AL 3110 is murag 533.

if ganahan ka ECS, try ECS PN2-SLI2+ or ECS NF650ISLIT-A but not sure if naa ni sa PCX.

    pcie bro. GeForce 7600GT

nevermind the specs. just give me a recommendation to work on the 13k range of Intel Conroe CPUs.

Naai barato for the core 2 quad?

I want around 1GB with plans to increase to 2GB a little later after the unit is bought.

yup yup. unless the 3k is impossible tell me the cheapest quad mobo there is?

no one has answered my question regarding the difference between the E6850 & Q6600 though. I hope someone can straighten me out so I can come up with a meaningful decision.
